   Senor Santo Nino = The Baby “LORD JESUS CHRIST”………..The Patron Saint of Cebu = The Lady of Guadalope…….. In March 16, 1521 Magellan came and introduced Christianity. He gave the Santo Niño (image of the Child LORD JESUS CHRIST) as baptismal gift to Hara Amihan, wife of Cebus Rajah Humabon who was later named Queen Juana. At that time, not only the rulers were baptized but also about 800 of their subjects. THEREFORE, SINULOG IS THE CELEBRATION OF THE CHILD “LORD JESUS CHRIST”.

   by the way, shufaness. i have the video that u’ve been looking for. from tayud consolacion. the 3rd placer in sinulog 2009 sa lalawigan. im selling it for 150pesos. dvd copies both in lalawigan and dakbyan sinulog 2009 edition.

    i hve dvd copies. the ones dat i hve uploaded in youtube are low in resolution because i converted it from dvd format to mpeg4, so it can be uploaded. ndi nmn tumatanggap ng dvd format ang youtube. just to let u know.
